Many of our students miss valuable classroom instruction due to doctor’s appointments and symptoms related to their diagnosis and treatment, such as suppressed immune system (e.g. fever) and low blood counts (e.g. fatigue). Our mission is to ensure that children with cancer, who are unable to attend school because of their treatment succeed at every level and are able to return to school at the same achievement level and grade with their class, having maintained their studies.
