Holiday Gift Giving

The holiday season is rapidly approaching and for most of us, it is time for family, tree trimming, and gift giving. Many families who have a child fighting cancer find themselves in emotional and financial stress and are not fully able to participate in the spirit of the holidays. Fortunately, every year CCF, with the help of generous donors and volunteers in the community, fulfill Christmas wishes to over 25 families.

T’was the night before Christmas and all through that eve
They were looking for hope and something to believe.
The children were sitting right next to their pales,
Waiting for chemo and healing their woes.
Doctors in white coats were dressed with a smile
But all these kids wanted was to play for awhile.
Then all of a sudden, there arose such a sound!
There were lots of fine people standing all around.
They came bearing gifts and lots of fine things –
The kids were like royalty, as kings and as queens.
For this was the thing they would always remember,
When the Children’s Cancer Fund gave joy in December.

If you would like to participate in bringing joy to the life of a child with cancer and their family members, please contact the Children’s Cancer Fund.
