Our Mission
The Children’s Cancer Fund of New Mexico exists to help children and their families cope with the day-to-day emotional, financial, and educational needs of living with and fighting cancer.

Little Hands Need Big Hearts
The Children’s Cancer Fund of New Mexico is proud to unveil our new logo! The CCFNM public relations committee in cooperation with Esparza Advertising worked diligently to create a logo that is uniquely CCFNM.
Since the inception of the CCFNM, there have been several logos. The earliest logo incorporated the Zia symbol, rainbows, and a parent holding their child. This logo was used until 2001. The same concept was used still depicting a parent holding their child, but without the Zia symbol and rainbow. This logo has been in use on some materials until today. Most recently, “Children’s Cancer Fund of New Mexico “ appeared on letterhead, envelopes, etc. in a whimsical font that was considered our logo.
The search for the right logo to describe CCFNM took some time, but we could not be more pleased with the end result. Esparza Advertising met with the public relations committee in our boardroom, where a quilt of childhood cancer patients’ handprints hangs. Upon presenting the logo concepts to CCFNM they told us that the handprints on the quilt had been their inspiration.
The handprints that appear in the logo are of our kids who battle cancer. Children recently coming to the CCFNM clinic office were asked to make a handprint to use in our rebranding image. They were all very pleased to have their handprint included. In addition the handprints from the “inspiration quilt” are also included. We have a logo and image that we are truly proud of…an image that we think says, “LITTLE HANDS NEED BIG HEARTS!”
